GREG ALEXANDER  (Actor, Comedian, Writer, Producer)

 

While pursuing his life long dream of becoming an entertainer, Greg Alexander attended MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY, graduating in May of 2001, with degrees in Telecommunication & Theatre. After years of honing his craft in Baltimore, Maryland, he decided to take that 'Leap of Faith' and take his talents to Los Angeles, California in order to play with the 'BIG BOYS' of the Entertainment Industry.

 

Greg's career started out at MONIQUE'S Comedy Club, in Baltimore, Maryland. After doing comedy for about 25 years now, this young man has finally come into his own style. Greg's style of Comedy is unlike most comedians that you may have seen. While many other comedians discuss current topics, events or poke fun at people, Greg takes you on a journey of his 'Unique' life; from a variety of aspects. Greg has no problem talking about his issues; such as his rough childhood, his college days, his bad relationships, his parents & relatives, his bad sexual encounters, depression & suicide attempts... just to name a few. People have said that Greg brings a certain energy to "HIS STAGE", allowing him to stand apart from other comedians, thus having you remember and appreciate his performance, as well as his electrifying talents.

 

Now, once you have had the opportunity to witness Greg perform, you will realize what a charismatic, talented, electrifying, funny Superstar that is on the rise. Greg Alexander is a very multi-faceted performer, who talents range from acting, comedy, improv, characters, poetry, music, writing, & much, much, more. Greg says, "...There is nothing that I can not do. Everything that I do... I do with 200% effort..." Greg is the type of person that does not wait for anyone to dictate his career. He goes out, grabs the bull by the horns and rides him off into the sunset.

 

Along with performing in numerous Comedy Clubs across the country, some of Greg's Credits include appearing in (2) films, LUV TALK and MONSTROUS V-9. In addition, Greg has appeared in a variety of theatrical stage plays, such as The Conduct of Life, The Woman in Black, Pink Heroin, A Path Less Taken, and the upcoming project, One Sunday Morning. On top of co-starring in One Sunday Morning, Greg penned 6 songs for, as well as wrote, the play. As you can tell by now, in addition to being a very energetic comedian, GREG ALEXANDER is also a very talented Actor & Writer that is becoming one of the hottest rising, most sought after, young entertainers on the scene. Greg also published his 1st book in June of 2011 (REAL LOCKER ROOM TALK: My Black Man’s Guide 2 Understanding His Bit... WOMAN). Greg’s book speaks directly to men about stepping up and taking care of his woman, as well as enhancing his relationship. Greg is also developing a talk show, based on his book.
